Seeking a principal for a 800+ student middle school. 

Proper Kentucky Principal certification required. Teaching and/or experience as Principal is preferred, but not required.

Qualified candidate will possess:

• Experience in leading change.
• Ability to use data to improve and implement rigorous instruction.
• Ability to create a culture of high expectations for student learning and instruction.
• Demonstrated ability to close the achievement gap for underachievers.
• Knowledge of research-based strategies and the ability to model those strategies in the classroom.

This position follows a 240 day contract. Salary commensurate with years of teaching experience and rank, plus supplement and extended days.

Other Requirements: Physical, TB risk assessment, CAN Check ($10), state/national criminal background check ($33.25), and drug screen ($20).
